Safety

Play freely. We’ve got your back.

Safety is launch-critical at Gamechemy. Block and report tools sit on every profile, chat, post, and game, and you stay in control of who can reach you.

  • Blocking ends everything

Block someone and it ends everything between you at once: chats, games, matches, and any pending move. They can’t contact you again.

  • Report from anywhere

Report from a profile, a chat, a community post, or a game session. Reports go to our team for review and can lead to content removal or account suspension.

  • Checked before it’s seen

Profile photos are screened in quarantine before they can appear on a profile. Community posts pass automated text filters before publication; this is not a human review of every post.

  • Your exact location stays private

Other members see your city or an approximate distance, never your exact location. Discovery only ever shares coarse distance bands.

How to

Block or report someone.

Block

  1. Open their profile or your chat with them.
  2. Tap the menu (•••) and choose Block.
  3. Review everyone you’ve blocked under Profile → Settings → Privacy & safety → Blocked users.

Report

  1. Use the Report option on the profile, chat, community post, or game session.
  2. Pick the reason that fits, such as a scam or a fake profile.
  3. Our team reviews it. You can block the person at the same time.

Scam warnings

A heads-up when something looks off.

If a message you receive asks for money, gift cards, crypto, or a verification code, or pushes you to move the conversation to another app, phone number, email, or link, Gamechemy shows a safety tip with a one-tap Report scam button.

The tip never blocks the message or stores anything. It’s there so you can decide.

Never share passwords or financial information, and never send money to people you meet on Gamechemy. Report any request like this right away.

Moderation

Automated checks and human review.

Automated screening can reject photos or restrict discovery. Our team reviews reports and decides further enforcement.

Photo screening

New photos are screened for unsafe content before they can become profile photos.

Fake-profile checks

When several people report a profile as fake, its photos are checked against images found on the web. Accounts using widely found photos are hidden from discovery pending review.

Enforcement

Depending on severity, we warn, remove content, restrict features, or remove accounts. Threats of violence, child sexual exploitation, and sexual exploitation mean immediate removal and may be reported to law enforcement.

Read the full rules in our Community Guidelines.

Built-in boundaries

You decide who reaches you.

  • Gamechemy is for adults 18 and over.
  • A pending move expires after 24 hours, and passing is silent: the sender is never told.
  • Someone who unmatched you can’t reach you with a move, and unmatching ends any pending move.
  • A daily limit of 20 moves keeps interest thoughtful and makes mass messaging expensive.
  • Stranger Play chats are temporary, normally 24 hours, unless you both choose to connect.

Privacy

Your data, handled with care.

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • Profile photos are stored as protected files and only shown to signed-in members the app allows to see them.
  • Your own Wingman requests require AI permission, which you can withdraw in Profile. Other members can include your public profile and messages in their own Wingman requests; see the Privacy Policy.
  • You can delete your account and data from Settings whenever you want.

Meeting someone in person

  • Keep the conversation in Gamechemy until you’re comfortable.
  • Meet somewhere public for the first few times.
  • Tell a friend where you’re going and who you’re meeting.
  • Arrange your own way there and back.
  • Trust your instincts. You can leave, block, or report at any time.
  • Never send money or share financial details.

In immediate danger?

Contact your local emergency services first. Gamechemy is not an emergency service. Then let us know so we can act on the account.
