Gamechemy is operated by Gamechemy Social Inc. ("Gamechemy," "we," "us," and "our"), which is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, date of birth, gender, photos, and profile details like interests, favorite games, prompts, and bio. Profile information can also include dating or friendship preferences, height, religion, education, profession, lifestyle details, and social links you choose to provide. For location features, the App collects exact latitude, longitude, and geohash privately for your account; other members receive only your city/country and approximate or rounded location. We also collect information generated through your use of the App, including moves, likes, matches, messages, game activity, community posts and requests, Speed event participation, profile views, support inquiries, safety reports, device and app-integrity information, push notification tokens, crash and performance diagnostics, and account or social sign-in identifiers from providers such as Google or Apple, or Facebook where that sign-in option is enabled.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate and improve Gamechemy, including matching you with other users based on your preferences and approximate location, facilitating games, chat, transactional account and event email, push notifications, safety tools, account deletion, and customer support. We also use information to enforce our Terms, prevent abuse, debug crashes and errors, maintain security, and comply with applicable legal requirements. We may use aggregated or anonymized data for analytics and service improvement.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with: (1) other Gamechemy users as part of matching, community, games, and chat features; (2) service providers who help us operate the App, including Firebase/Google Cloud for authentication, database, storage, Cloud Functions, app-integrity checks, and push infrastructure, Resend for transactional email delivery, Expo for app services, Sentry for crash and performance diagnostics, and Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch (and, after repeated fake-profile reports, Web Detection) for photo safety review; (3) OpenStreetMap Foundation's public Nominatim service, which receives coordinates rounded to a 0.1-degree grid (roughly 11 km of latitude) for reverse geocoding and city-search queries, and processes request/network metadata under its own policy; (4) DeepSeek, which receives profile, Wingman, match-message, and visible game context through our server-side Wingman/AI proxy to generate responses and analysis when the requesting member has enabled AI sharing (see "Wingman and AI" below); and (5) law enforcement or government agencies if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of users. These providers may process data in other countries.
Premium purchases are not currently available. In native app builds configured with RevenueCat, its billing SDK is initialized and receives your Gamechemy account identifier when you sign in, even if Premium is disabled. If purchases are activated, RevenueCat supports subscription and entitlement management alongside Apple App Store or Google Play billing.
Email Notifications
We may send operational email about account verification, password recovery, account security or deletion, and Speed event requests, confirmations, schedule changes, cancellations, reminders, and post-event connection windows. You can disable optional Speed event reminder emails in the App; essential account and event-status messages remain enabled. Gamechemy does not add you to a newsletter or marketing list without a separate opt-in.
Photos
The App does not use your camera or microphone; profile photos are chosen from your photo library. You can control photo, notification, and location permissions through your device settings.
Wingman and AI
Wingman, our AI companion, and the chat partner in bot games use DeepSeek, an outside AI provider. Your own Wingman and bot-chat requests require you to allow AI sharing in the Wingman introduction. These requests can send your profile, Wingman chats, intake answers, learned notes and conversation summaries, and relevant screen or visible game context. Wingman also uses DeepSeek to update its memory and summaries while your AI permission is enabled. When you ask for help with a chat or about another member, that person's public profile and recent messages with them, including theirs, can be sent too.
Other members can use Wingman in the same way, so your public profile and messages to them may be included in their AI requests even if you have not enabled Wingman yourself. Turning Wingman off in Profile withdraws permission for your own AI requests and memory updates; it does not remove information already sent or prevent another member's requests from including your profile or messages. API keys are not stored in the mobile app.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Internal transactional-email jobs and delivery receipts are normally removed within seven days after reaching a final state. Email providers may retain limited delivery records under their configured service terms. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the Settings screen in the App, or by contacting us. Upon account deletion, we remove or anonymize profile and account data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our Terms. A short-lived destination address may be retained only long enough to send the deletion completion notice.
Deletion removes your profile and photos, conversations, authored community posts, Wingman data, and other account-linked app records. Shared game statistics can remain for the other player with your account identifier removed. Safety reports are retained with the reporter and reported-account identifier fields cleared. A report can also preserve a separate copy of up to 200 recent messages from the reported conversation. That copy uses participant roles instead of account identifiers, but message text can still contain personal information; account deletion does not erase that evidence copy. Reported conversations may also be held for moderation rather than removed by ordinary chat-expiry cleanup.
A minimal deletion record remains linked to your former account identifier, recording deletion status, request and completion times, and Apple sign-in revocation status. Hashed email suppression records can remain to prevent delivery after a bounce or complaint. Safety reports, evidence copies, deletion records, and suppression records do not currently have an automatic deletion period; evidence removal requires moderator action. Deleting your Gamechemy account does not automatically erase copies already processed by outside providers or retained by other members.
Age Requirement
Gamechemy is for adults aged 18 and over. The App asks for your date of birth during onboarding and checks adult eligibility. If you believe someone under 18 is using Gamechemy, report the account in the App or contact support@gamechemy.com.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict certain processing of your data; and request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us through the Contact Us page in the App or at support@gamechemy.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure authentication via Firebase Authentication, and access controls on our database. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This Website
This section covers gamechemy.com only. The website has no accounts or sign-in and sets no cookies. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver and secure the site.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and measure page performance. It records the pages you view, the referring site, your browser and device type, your approximate country, and page load timings. It does not use cookies or local storage and does not track you across other websites. We use these statistics only in aggregate, to understand how the website is used and to improve it.
